SPA Meetings in 2009
SPA meetings in 2009 have been poorly attended. This situation is not SUSTAINABLE!!!
Your committee considers that members have voted with their feet and we have to wind up SPA whilst advancing sustainability in WA.
What next ?
Committee members and interested parties will be meeting in the next 30 days to plan the orderly winding up of SPA including the distribution of surplus
assets.
In keeping with the aims of SPA we will be disbursing funds to sustainability projects and a template for application will be distributed to members and our
email list shortly.
Watch this space
One of the objectives of the meeting will be to elect additional members to the committee so SPA can be wound up in a proper manner.
This will also require advance notice being given of a Special General Meeting for that purpose – notice will be through this website and our email lists. It is expected the
SGM will take place in March.
Any members who would like to contribute time or energy to the winding up of SPA are most welcome.

Its not all bad !!!
There are many great things happening within WA and past and present SPA members are actively involved. Many of the functions of SPA
are being fulfilled by other initiatives.
SPA aims to support these existing initiatives through its winding up process and through future involvement of its existing members in making WA more
sustainable.
